6 Powerful Ways to Embark On The Healing Journey
Most of us have gone through pain and trauma in our lives. It could be due to neglect, abandonment or even abuse from our caregivers during childhood, or grief from losing someone dear to us, or perhaps harsh treatment by teachers and classmates during our formative years.

Negative emotions that occur within us that don't get resolved will then lead to the creation of beliefs such as "I am not worthy of love", "I will never succeed", etc and these beliefs lead to the set up of circumstances that manifest as self fulfilling prophecies and we wonder, why is life so hard, why me, etc.
If we really want love, freedom and fulfillment in our lives, then we need to commit to healing ourselves.
Healing has nothing to do with fake positivity. It is about looking within and facing our innermost fears and doubts and allowing ourselves to release them. It is not easy doing it alone, hence, it can be useful to engage a skilful and compassionate healer to help you with your healing journey.
What are the 6 most important aspects of healing?
1) Aura cleansing
The aura is an energy field that surrounds a person that can be 5 cm to 2 metres in radius. It is made up of astral energy and is produced by the solar plexus chakra which is at the core in our abdomen.
Our aura contains colours that vary according to one's emotions, thoughts, health, stress level, lifestyle and environment. The ideal aura is bright and have all the colours of the rainbow. Conversely, an aura that is unhealthy may be small in area and have dark or dull colours such as brown, gray and even black.
It is important to cleanse our aura when it gets contaminated by negative energies. It is like spring cleaning our bedroom. When our aura is bright and strong, we feel more energetic and confident in ourselves. It's the same feeling as driving a brand new Ferrari - things move smoothly and we feel at the top of our game.
2) Chakra restoration
Chakras are the batteries of our main energy system. Visually they look like 2 cones stuck together at the narrow ends, with one cone facing the front of the body and the other cone facing the back of the body. The 2 exceptions are the crown and root chakras where the cones are vertically positioned i.e. facing the top and bottom of the body.
Their function is to provide energy flow. This happens through the spinning movement of the chakras like a fan that brings about the creation of wind, except that in the case of chakras, the spinning brings about the charging of energies in the body.
Healing your chakras can have profound effects on your life, from emotional healing to enhanced physical health and spiritual growth. When chakras are unblocked, the energy flows freely, allowing you to experience greater clarity, improved relationships, and a stronger sense of purpose.
3) Past life healing
When you have one or more unresolved past life, the imprints carried over to this life may create problems such as phobias, obsessions, dysfunctional behaviours, chronic health issues, negative relationship patterns and more.
For those who need past life healing, the negative imprints show up as black spots in the aura on the shoulders. Physically, you won't feel anything but you will experience obstacles in your life that don't go away no matter what you do. If other healing methods don't help, then past life healing may be what you need.
4) Intuitive reading
Sometimes, all we need is clarity about the next step. We may have lost touch with our deepest selves, the self that knows our highest potential and what we need to get there. This is when connecting to our spirit guides through a channel would be very helpful.
You have to be careful about engaging a channel who is not a spirit medium where they get messages from lower entities such as ghosts and spirits. The messages are often inaccurate and sometimes the entities may latch on to you after the session and create chaos in your life. Always use a channel who connects to higher beings from the light such as angels, ascended masters and God.
5) Cord cutting
Energy cords are energetic ribbons that connect us to all the people in our inner circle, such as family, friends, co-workers and people whom we meet on a regular basis. It may be as thin and flimsy as wispy cotton or as thick and heavy as iron chains. It is created during the 3rd to 6th in person meeting with the other party and represents the quality of the connection - whether it is enriching or draining.
When the energy cord is draining, it shows up as dark and heavy. The relationship is toxic and you often feel stressed or negative when facing the person or even thinking about them. Cord cutting involves releasing the energy between both parties so that the person may or may not disappear from your life but if the person still remains in your life, the relationship becomes lighter and more harmonious.
6) Heal your mind
This is the most important step to healing as our enlightenment is directly related to how healthy our mind is. If our mind is bogged down by fears, negativity and attachment, it affects all aspects of our life.
Healing your mind involves a strong commitment to facing your inner demons. It is certainly not easy and it's highly encouraged to have the support of a spiritual guide or mentor as you progress on this journey.
